Thermoset
Screws ::

Most thermoset screws are constructed from 4140 or Nit. 135M. In recent
years, due to newly engineered resins, many molders have found the
need to replace these screws with through-hardened, tool steel screws.
These screws tend to have short L/D ratios with a constant body diameter.
Wear is typically evident only in the discharge end. Most Concor thermoset
screws are made from tool steel. |
